Welcome back, Hazi.ro!
You may remember our article from earlier this year where we described their new, self-built datacenter in Romania. They’re up and running and have some tasty offers for us:
- For €5.50/month you can get a 4GB VPS with 100GB of disk (not including the 60GB boot drive)!
- Or if you don’t need something that big, €2.99/month will get you a 1GB system with 100GB of disk!
- Other cool offers, too!
What do you think about this private datacenter concept? Most of our hosts are in public DCs so it’s interesting to see someone strike out on their own. This is how innovation happens!
You can read Hazi.ro‘s terms and conditions on their web site. If they work for you, you can pay with credit/debit cards, Paysafecard, or crypto. Questions? Ask in the comments below or hit up @FlorinMarian on LowEndTalk.
Here’s some more anout Hazi.ro from Florin:
HAZI.ro was born 3 years ago from the passion of 3 students at the Faculty of Informatics, eventually becoming a reputable benchmark for LowEnd companies in Romania.
After the 3 years, when the costs exploded and the sales remained at about the same level, we had come to lose our profitability. At that moment we had a choice between going bankrupt or investing all the profit collected over time and even more and we prefer not to say what we chose directly but you will figure it out yourself, telling you that initially we were colocated in a data center in Bacau, Romania and currently we have set up our own small data center with redundant internet connections, photovoltaic electricity, a generator with automatic start and batteries that allow us to have no interruptions when the power disappears from the grid and the generator did not start.
Now read on to see these offers, get test IPs, and read the host node specs!

I don’t recomand this hosting, I had like 6 months, every 2 3 days he’s restarting server, it’s useless… Uptime like 70%.
Not recommended at all!
Although it seems very cheap on paper, but at the end does not worth it. For example, network should be 1Gbps but it never goes higher than 500Mbps.
btw, I know it is shared 1Gbps but I’ve seen shared with others too.
