I have shared hosting with this company and they have great customer service, always answer tickets the same day & have had minimal or no downtime. Performance of servers are great too. Have not had a chance to use the VPS yet but anticipate I will soon.
Hi @mark3 — glad to hear that you’ve had good experience with our customer service. This is what we’re all about, solid service that is available to you at all times with solutions at affordable pricing. And for those who have specific/custom needs, we’re here to support those too.
Thank You for allowing us to be your provider.
the bandwidth is false. I used it to watch YouTube, and the 2TB was used up in 4 days
Hi Mike – bandwidth utilization can be tricky, sometimes we exhaust more resources than we expect. Or at times, it’s something we should closely monitor as it could be a sign of a “compromised” VM. I doubt this is the case for you, but it may be something you look into as well.
By the way, did you know if you post your order number on one of our LET threads, we could double your bandwidth resources free of charge?
Lastly if you do find that your utilization is indeed more than you expected it to be, and are scaling, we can offer discounted/bulk pricing for upgrades. In short, we’re here for you.
I had 2 sharing host accounts with this hoster. They are local in SoCal (as I remember somewhere close to yorba linda or Riverside). I had never any issue with this hoster. Hope there VPS accounts will be good too.
Hi David, we appreciate your business and are glad to hear that our service level has lived up to what we’re all about, and that’s Introducing Infrastructure Stability. We are indeed a real company, with a real office/presence in the Inland Empire. Specifically located in Rancho Cucamonga with a global presence.
If you ever need anything, we’ll always be here.
I’ve had a CyberMonday deal on a VPS with them since 2020 and Reseller since the end of 2022. I’ve hosted websites since 1996 and this period has been probably the least trouble I’ve ever had.
Hi Robert, this is so refreshing to hear. We’re happy that our service has been reliable and has treated you well. Our cPanel/WHM reseller plans, are a good bang for their buck, I’m really pro cPanel reseller, as this is what allowed myself personally to learn more about the market, and gain technical experience and over the years, obtained additional knowledge, up to leading RackNerd to an Inc honor :)
Also good stuff on having a VPS with us, that means you’re quite techy yourself :)
Was using RackNerd for last two years time, but now I will need to look for another hosting as $86.78 for 4GB of RAM and 3 cores as easily too much.
Pity.
Hi Stan, we’re always running different promotions – so while that specific service you found may be priced at that, other deals may eventually catch your eye while fulfilling your targeted budget. On top of that, being familiar with our service and reliability, is always an important factor to consider.
For example check out this 4GB RAM with 2 Core KVM VPS for under $39/Year – https://my.racknerd.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=795 — this is a great deal :) By the way, full upgradable as needed.
If you need something specific/customized, and want a just for you deal you can always e-mail me dustin@racknerd.com and I’ll do my best to help.
I think GreenCloud is more worth it.
Because by adding 10$ you can get 4GB RAM
Ask Racknerd. I paid to upgrade my package to 4 cores.
Hi Robert, very true! We can get very creative and are open to custom tailoring deals. For those interested, I can be reached at dustin@racknerd.com — deals are what we do!
Hi Hobi, providers similiar to RackNerd, are always open for business and can customize deals based on specific needs. Seeing that RAM is important to you – I’d be happy to learn more about your overall resource requirements, and custom tailor a deal for you!
Just e-mail dustin@racknerd.com, and I’ll certainly help. We sincerely value your opinion and would love to hear what you think about our just-for-you offers. Send me an e-mail.
The only thing that leaves us thinking is the issue of Bandwidth in Racknerd, why set limited bandwidths, when all providers set unmetered bandwidth already with 100 Mbps by default and even 1 Gbps, this makes no sense, It is typical of shared hosting or similar, and you would have to know what that bandwidth consists of, because there are providers that even consider bandwidth, uploading a file via FTP, which is ridiculous, so what happens if you exceed the Bandwidth , you pay more, you are left without service?, this is the problem that we see at Racknerd, and that we are with the Bandwidth in circles, in the year 2024 is ridiculous
Hi Frank – you bring up great points. Though based on our pricing model, unmetered bandwidth offerings at this level wouldn’t make sense to us (for these specific deals listed within this offer above) when it comes to a sustainable long term business.
In addition, most providers by default, understandably, aren’t providing unmetered solutions – and for those that do, also often times are not truly offering it and rate limit/port cap, etc. So surprises can be experienced sadly. On top of that, pricing overall would be higher for everyone, despite the requirement not being there for many.
I do understand that consumers who actually do utilize bandwidth at that level have already experienced said surprises and or are aware of market pricing for those resources. So with that being said, we do have creative plans for those in need. We do offer true unmetered solutions that can be sustained and utilized at all times.
For those seeking peace of mind, evaluating our offers to find the most suitable plan is a good start, in addition we offer double bandwidth free of charge on many of our promotions that we promote here, and to claim you just need to reply to our LET thread where we apply such free upgrades. Additionally as your business resource requirements change, each plan can be upgraded to bit fit that growth. We’re always here supporting growth.
In short, we’re experienced, know the market well and can cater to company and individual needs (quite aggressively too when it comes to price, in a very good way). Engaging with RackNerd or myself is easy, and I want to make sure you’re taken care of. Feel free to e-mail dustin@racknerd.com for custom “just-for-you” pricing/configruations.
