miniVPS - £10/Year 128MB OpenVZ VPS in France (Again)

miniVPS Simon from Scotland based miniVPS emailed me that their 10 pound/year France VPS is back in stock again. Moreover, just like every other shopping ads you see on TV, “these prices won’t be seen again”. So there you go, £10/year (~USD$15.60) using this sign up link, and you get

  • 128MB guaranteed/256MB burstable memory
  • 15GB storage
  • 500GB/month data transfer
  • OpenVZ/SolusVM

Payment in PayPal only. Servers in France with OVH (test IP: 46.105.114.184). MiniVPS is part of Xavvo Ltd which is registered in Scotland in the middle of this year. They have been running this offer on WHT pretty much since October, and according to Simon it has been extended to 1st of January. Looking at their WHT offer threads they did offer pretty fast response time and got some nice feedbacks. Good sign that they’ll last more than 12 months?

This vps provider looks serious to provide service in long term. I like the TOS/AUP that allow all client to run any programs as long as not complained by somebody. The only one disadvantage that I as a minivps client not satisfy is about cpu throttling. If I want to install any program that will use high cpu for a few minutes, this server ‘kick’ the program. I really hope cpu throttle will be disabled.

I have one of these. Great uptime and support when I used it was very efficient. There was a mystery rebot but the node was only down for 5mins. I ran the LEB script and posted the output on LET

  5. IS this a recurring price?
Do you offer native ipv6 addresses with it?

    December 5, 2011 @ 7:36 am | Reply
    • rds100:

ipv6 address is ipv6 address, it cannot be native or non-native :) The ipv6 transit on the other hand can be native or tunneled.

      December 5, 2011 @ 7:40 am | Reply
      • I’ll re-phrase, “do you offer ipv6 addresses and are they part of native transit or tunnel transit?”

        December 5, 2011 @ 7:44 am | Reply
    • The price is the same, no matter how long you have the account for.

We don’t at this time offer IPV6, however we are looking into offering it in the new year.

Quite happy with a 256MB VPS from MiniVPS for the last 3 months; no downtime except for 15 min scheduled downtime that was announced with a few days notice. Just ordered myself a 128MB to play with…

This is the fastest VPS I tested from my location (Netherlands), which is also reflected in the test from Zigga up there. Good bang for the buck!

    How do you do Sir

    i need to know :
if you allow warez linking forums or nulled scripts, rapidleech, torrent and video scripts?

and if you received DMCA report do you give a time limit to remove it ?

and if the time limit ended do you just suspend and no negotiations for backups or what ?

    sorry long ask but necessary

    Best Regards

    • Hi Shreef,
As long as you remain inside our TOS and AUP there shouldn’t be a problem however things such as nulled scripts and warez wouldn’t be permitted. We provide 24 hour windows for all DMCA notices received. If you need further information, just drop us an email or a ticket in the helpdesk.

      • Accdording to your previous comments, it’s using vswap, 128MB, then is ‘ok’ to the specifications.
