Update August 2010: Steadcom has been sold to eTecc, and the domain ceased to resolve since 15 August. Time to be taken to the dead pool.
While the 64MB VPS crowd has moved up to compete on 128MB memory territory, there are some wanted to explore a special niche by offering VPS with only 32MB of memory! XenVZ did it, and SteadCom has also started to offer VPS of this size. For $4.95/month, you can get:
- 32MB memory
- 2.5GB storage
- 100GB/month data transfer
- OpenVZ or Xen
SteadCom has been trading for 2 years and have their servers in Los Angeles CA. It has provide a choice between Xen and OpenVZ — one provides swap space and the other has “burstable RAM”.

totally ridiculous price, if it were 64MB i’d probably be all over it though.
I went back to look into this deal and SteadCom has increased the RAM
on this package to 64MB.
