LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

These New FiberState Data Center Pics Contain Zero Nudity, However, They May Still Arouse You

FiberState is single-handedly one of my favorite new upcoming hosts.

They don’t follow the traditional LowEndHost model where you go pick up a handful of OVH or Hetzner servers, a WHMCS license, and a LowEndTalk provider account.

Instead, FiberState did it the right way… which requires a bit more time to pull off, and a bit more of an upfront investment to get started.

They opened up a newly built 100% carrier-neutral data center based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, and joined LowEndTalk with a bang, presenting a killer offer.

The LowEndTalk community pretty much instantly recognized the value there, and despite FiberState being new to LowEndTalk… they were a HUGE hit with over 6,000 visits to their thread.

I decided to reach out to them directly and ask for some more info about them, to which, the team over at FiberState delivered.

First, let’s take a look at the new data center pictures they sent me…

Introducing: The New FiberState Data Center

FiberState Compound

By the way, in case you’re wondering… everything inside the fence is part of the FiberState compound. FiberState is the real deal.

Oops, wait. Wrong post. Ignore that one. The other pictures are incredible though.

That compound is way bigger than I expected. It’s no basement data center.

Where Did FiberState Come From?

Now for some background info. Like I said earlier, since they took over the scene so fast I decided to reach out. Here’s what the founder replied:

FiberState was conceived in November, 2022 when we saw potential in the data center market in Salt Lake City, Utah and the explosive tech growth happening here. Over the next 8 months we rapidly transformed our current facility into a 10,000 square foot, purpose-built, redundancy focused, data center and carrier hotel. Our mission is to bring dense connectivity to the “Silicon Slopes” area of Salt Lake City. We have 6 on net providers with plans for more; to bring dark fiber, connectivity, and additional infrastructure to our facility. Salt Lake City also makes for a great home for a data center due to its high elevation and dry desert geography, allowing for efficient cooling, and the state’s extremely low occurrences of natural and man-made disasters make it one of the safest data center locations in the United States. Utah also has some of the highest Internet speeds in the nation.

Logically, the next sound question would be to ask about their future plans, so I did just that. Here’s what FiberState has in plan for the future:

Some of our future goals include;

  • Value driven growth of the dedicated server space. We have the unique ability to deploy the latest server hardware at a lower cost than most of our competitors.
  • Expansive Colocation options in the Salt Lake City, UT data center market.
  • Enhance our IP transit offerings and eventually a global FiberState IP transit backbone along with PoP’s (points of presence) into national and international markets.

Neat…
