Vultr revealed this weekend that they have expanded into Bangalore… and Delhi!
The number of big players in India has been growing. Other than the “big clouds”, DigitalOcean and Linode are both there in Mumbai. And so is Vultr.
But like some competitors, Vultr didn’t drop a DC there and check India off as done. Now they’ve double and tripled down on the geography. As they put in their press release:
Today we’re thrilled to announce our two newest cloud data center locations in Bangalore and Delhi NCR – a geographic presence that is unprecedented in the industry!
With the ability to provision cloud compute in India’s three largest cities, Vultr now offers service in more regions within India than AWS, Google, or any of the other global independent clouds.
Bangalore and Delhi NCR mark our 26th and 27th cloud data center locations, and bring our total in Asia to six locations.
