Saw this offer on WHT from Web Wide Hosting, an New Zealand hosting company that recently purchased ServerWays.
To celebrate the launch of our new endeavour we would like to make the following offer to WHT users.
From now until 14th April 2008, use the ticket code WHTLAUNCH10 to obtain an additional 10% discount (for the life of the account) off any of the already great prices that we offer below.
That means for $4.41/month, you can get their VPS 111 account that has 100MB memory, 10GB storage and 100GB monthly data transfer on 100Mbps link. They have also expanded to 3 data centres — Scranton PA (HostNOC/BurstNET/Nocster), Dallas TX (Databank) and Portland OR (DirectOne).
Although the specs are good, do note that Web-Wide-Hosting uses OpenVZ flag cpulimit to restrict your CPU usage to make your scripts run artificially slow. It will be fine if you are running IO bound applications but it can be frustrating running your dynamic sites on it. Maybe that will add a new layer of challenge — try running a WordPress blog on a 100MHz Pentium 4!

The 4.41$ account has a 100KB/sec uplink
which means the fastest it can serve data is 100KB/sec or 0.8mbit/sec
