WizzVPS Via this WHT offer. WizzVPS, a UK hosting company that is part of LayerShift Ltd, has been advertising their Virtuozzo VPS starting from 4.95 quid. Yes — a Virtuozzo low end VPS has not been common, and thanks to the depreciating GBP, we can actually now have one for just £4.95 (or £49.50/year).

  • 160MB memory
  • 10GB storage
  • 150GB/month data transfer
  • 2 IP addresses
  • Virtuozzo Power Panel

If it is using SLM, it would be a very good offer. According to their company page they have been offering Virtuozzo VPS since 2003. Servers are in UK.

The original owner of LowEndBox known as "LowEndAdmin" or "LEA" for short founded LowEndBox in 2008 and created the concept of hosting applications on low resource "Low End Boxes". After creating the roots of the community that we know today, "LEA" stepped aside and allowed others to carry the torch forward.

  1. I can confirm that all of our VPS’s (WizzVPS and Layershift) use SLM, and for those who are interested enough to check domain registration dates and so forth you’ll find that we initially started out as Transnexis but rebranded to something a little easier to say/type – feel free to search for reviews and comments under all 3 brands.

I moved from another VPS provider to wizzvps as I was dissatisfied with the staff. When I moved over to wizzvps I found the staff are awsome and even provided me with free support with a GCC compiler issue (turned out to be my own C code that was the issue). In a nutshell, they go above and behond the call of duty, which is why i’ll be staying with them for many years to come.
