Happy Black Friday! RackNerd, a name well-known in the industry, doesn’t require much introduction. Just to remind everyone, RackNerd was voted as the #1 Top Provider and the #1 Most Professional provider by our very own LowEndTalk community. They have a history of presenting some of the most compelling deals, and this year is no different. For those in search of a reliable provider known for delivering awesome customer service and stable uptime, RackNerd remains a top choice.
This year, RackNerd’s Black Friday 2023 stands out with two distinct types of VPS deals. First, their regular KVM VPS, powered by robust Intel Xeon processors and SSDs, offering reliability and performance. Secondly, for those seeking top-tier performance (literally more power than you will probably know what to do with)… RackNerd introduces their premium KVM VPS product line. These premium VPS are powered by the cutting-edge Ryzen 7950X processors, feature Gen4 NVMe storage for super fast Disk I/O performance, and are equipped with DDR5 memory – ensuring an unparalleled VPS experience.
Additionally, you can now enjoy extra savings on your Black Friday purchases with RackNerd’s new feature for Black Friday – the Wheel of Savings! This is just the cherry on top to save you even more towards your Black Friday order :)
These Black Friday VPS deals from RackNerd are built on KVM Virtualization, giving you the ability to run your own kernel. Premium Ryzen 7950X VPS’s are currently available in New York at the time of writing this with more locations to come in the near future, we’ve been told. Intel VPS services are available for deployment in multiple locations including Los Angeles, San Jose, Dallas, Chicago, Ashburn, New York, Atlanta, Strasbourg, and Amsterdam (looking glass/test IPs provided below for your convenience), RackNerd emphasizes that, due to the popularity of this sales event, the availability of these locations may vary. New datacenter locations might be introduced and made available, or vice versa. It’s best to keep an eye on the ordering form, which is updated in real-time, to quickly grab the deal in your preferred location before it runs out!

IPv6?
I tried to find out if this was still the situation:
https://my.racknerd.com/index.php?rp=/knowledgebase/25/Do-you-provide-IPv6-.html
Hi Paul – as of now, we do support native IPv6 in our Los Angeles DC-02 location and in France for our KVM product line. Other locations, we suggest using tunneled IPv6 via tunnelbroker (if this is really required/desired).
For our bare metal product line, it’s best to reach out to us though a majority of these points of presences too support native IPv6.
ok, racknerd responded
It is, Los Angeles DC-02 and France are our main locations for IPv6 support.
Hi Paul — glad to hear that our support team was able to reply to you. We are very quick to help and reply via ticket, 24×7 — that’s another solid advantage of choosing us as your provider :) Most of us want a provider we can reach, communicate with and one that cares about its valued customers.
I have two KVM VPS from last year’s Black Friday Deal, now up for renewal.
Can I get any code or discount to match this year’s deal or the same deal as the first year?
Thank you
Hi Jagan — great question!
While we wish it was that easy, it just isn’t because in most cases plans differ when it comes to resources. That is what makes our plans unique, and each will vary whether one plan may be suitable for your application and or a different plan is best depending on your application / resource requirement. Some resources can’t be downsized either, so that means moving from your current plan to another may not be as easy as it sounds.
So if you’re set on a new plan, we suggest ordering it and migrating to it and or speaking to us via a sales ticket so that we can thoroughly review your current plan and provide the best upgrade path for you.
I considered switching from a previous Black Friday deal. However, support told me that this would be considered “promo hopping” and is forbidden.
Dustin, how do I get it touch with you?
