Community News: RackNerd is Now an Inc.com Verified Company

RackNerd Inc. Magazine

I recently logged into the RackNerd client area (I have VPS services with them that I pay for personally – no one can resist some of their offers!) and in the announcements section, I noticed that they recently made a post about being an Inc. Verified Company.  It’s not often that providers in our community earn the distinction of being verified by Inc.!  In RackNerd’s own words, this is “a leap forward in reinforcing excellence.”

For those who don’t know about Inc.com or the Inc Magazine, Inc.com is a well-known business media brand in America that focuses on business news and awards, particularly about up-and-coming companies that are disrupting their industry.  If you’re an Alphabet or Tesla, you get covered in Fortune.  If you’re the next Alphabet or Tesla, you’re in Inc.  They’re known for being really picky about the businesses they feature, so getting any kind of acknowledgment from them is a pretty big deal.

RackNerd’s new, fancy profile and status can be found directly on Inc’s website here: https://www.inc.com/profile/RackNerd-LLC

RackNerd is a popular provider within the LowEndBox and LowEndTalk community, who was recently elected both Best Provider and Most Professional Provider. RackNerd has frequently contributed content, giveaways, and special deals to the community, and they have earned a reputation for excellent service and support.

Dustin B. Cisneros, CEO of RackNerd commented: “Inc.com is a highly respected business media brand that sets an incredibly high bar for the companies they acknowledge. To have our business acknowledged by them is a significant achievement and a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering premium services. This verification by Inc.com is a major milestone for us, and we’re just getting started. We look forward to achieving more recognitions from Inc.com and other respected institutions.”

Here’s the full text of the official announcement:

RackNerd is a solid host. Have a couple of their cPanel deals and have had very few issues over the years.

Have some teacher friends with VPS’s and they always comment on how solid they are.

  3. RuhNet:

Well, I used to think RackNerd was pretty reliable BUT they’ve had to give me several replacement VPSs on different nodes TWICE so far this year, due to catastrophic hardware failures. Soooo, I’m considering moving a lot of things elsewhere.

    • Hello RuhNet,
Thank You for your business and for choosing RackNerd as your provider :)

We pride ourselves on our reputation built around excellent customer service, reliability, and performance. That being said, no one is immune from hardware failures, this can happen in the world of IT. We do have several safeguards in place and we are able to manage/mitigate the effects of most hardware issues without action needed from our customers, though in the rare instance there is action needed from our customer’s end, we try to communicate those details as best as we can.

Please reach out to me personally via email at dustin@racknerd.com so I can review your account and we can go from there. I have some ideas on how we can better diversify your infrastructure, i.e. ensuring VPS’s are spread out across different physical host nodes, etc.

  6. SherlockHolmes:

It looks like anyone can get this for a yearly fee of $89, which is waived right now if the business requests a quote from some insurance company?

    • Hi SherlockHolmes,

In all fairness, I wouldn’t say “anyone” – it’s worth noting that Inc. has an array of programs, each typically having an associated non-refundable application fee. That being said, any payments made to Inc. are for the application process itself only, and isn’t a guaranteed approval. All applications are manually reviewed & processed by their team.
