Not Recommended – Ongoing Service Limitations and Lack of Transparency
In late November 2025, I purchased an annual VPS plan from this provider.
In early January 2026, access to the DNS service (port 53 UDP/TCP) was blocked. As a result, my local DNS server and all dependent services stopped functioning. I opened a support ticket and was informed that this was a security measure to prevent DDoS attacks. I was advised to use public DNS resolvers such as 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 instead. However, this caused issues with my mail server, which began generating false positives due to spam blacklist lookups—many of which return special codes when queries originate from public DNS services. My request to reopen DNS traffic was denied.
At the end of February 2026, outbound traffic on port 25/TCP (SMTP) was blocked, which again disrupted my mail server’s functionality. When I contacted support, I was told, verbatim: “Your plan doesn’t allow SMTP.” I pointed out that there was no mention of such a limitation on their website, nor any indication of which plans would permit SMTP traffic. I asked for clarification on which service I should upgrade to. The response I received was: “They’re all on our main site at the bottom. Again you didn’t purchase any network services, the package you purchased was only for a VPS. We allow SMTP on other packages that include network and data traffic.”
However, I could not find any reference to this distinction on any of their pages, including VPS listings, Terms & Conditions, and Acceptable Use Policy. I even provided multiple URLs to support my claim, but received no further response. Ultimately, I had to migrate my outgoing mail services to another provider while keeping this server for incoming mail. Had these restrictions been in place from the beginning, I would have cancelled the service and requested a refund, but by then it was no longer possible.
In mid-June 2026, inbound connections to ports 25, 465, and 587 (SMTP) were blocked, leaving my mail server completely unusable—not only unable to send mail, but also unable to receive messages or allow authenticated client connections. I opened a high-priority support ticket, but after four days I had still not received any response.
Given the lack of transparency in their terms, the arbitrary nature of these restrictions, and the repeated service disruptions, I cannot recommend this provider and would advise others to approach their services with caution.
