WelcomeHosting reached out to us with 3 more KVM VPS Specials that they wanted to share. This is KVM VPS Hosting powered by pure SSD.
All of their plans come with the following as a standard: custom Kernels supported, Docker Supported, SolusVM Control Panel, Custom ISO (OS) Supported, KVM Virtualization.

You can find their ToS/Legal Docs here. They accept PayPal, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum as payment methods.

Here’s what they had to say:

“Nowadays, it seems like it’s almost impossible to find a hosting company that understands its customers by their first name – not just another number. What’s one aspect about home that’s found nowhere else? Feeling comfortable and welcome — and that’s exactly the type of client experience we aspire to deliver here at WelcomeHosting. We offer plenty of different hosting solutions, and we’re always available to help you every step of the way. Welcome to a personalized and worry-free hosting experience!”

I ordered (6) 512MB KVM VPS to train college students on Linux configurations. Each host was up almost immediately, and a couple of hours later we’ve launched our first training scenario. So far, so good. Everything is working great!

Just received an email from these turds. They’re closing down effective 12/9, per the email. Talk about SLIMY, with less than 3 days to find another host, and for those of us who paid for a year, we’re screwed.. These fuckers can go to hell…

WelcomeHosting just announced they’re closing on December 9th, not even a full month after this post.

I’ve been running a VPS on WelcomeHosting for most of the year. Just received this email today:
    Dear Customer,

Over the past few months we have been met with many challenges within the hosting business. Some that have not been overcome.

As result of this we will be closing our doors. We will be shutting down this Monday 12/9/2019. We are taking this time to let our customers know so that they may backup and retrieve all of their data before then.

We deeply apologize for this inconvenience.

    Thank You,

    WelcomeHosting Management Team

Some notes on commenting on LowEndBox:

  • Do not use LowEndBox for support issues. Go to your hosting provider and issue a ticket there. Coming here saying "my VPS is down, what do I do?!" will only have your comments removed.
  • Akismet is used for spam detection. Quoting webhostingtalk.com URL seems to get binned consistently here, but I do peek into the spam box frequently to publish those comments.
