Adam, from Zappie Host, has sent in these three offers for LowEndBox readers. All offers come with quite some bandwidth at 1Gbps!
VPS Package 1
| VPS Package 2
| VPS Package 3
|
ZappieHost was established in early 2015 and is a registered company in the UK. Their WHOIS information is public as well. Their motto is ‘taking hosting seriously’ and they aim to grow with their clients as they come. IPv6 is currently unavailable but will come in the future to both old and new clients. Their control panel is integrated into WHMCS meaning you have one place to manage your server and your billing. Space for up to three snapshots is included with these machines, allowing you to restore your VPS to a former state in case you mess something up. On top of that, these offers enjoy OVH’s DDoS protection. European locations are coming in the future. If you give these guys a shot, please share your experiences with us in the comments!
ZappieHost does have their own IP space but are only using that for non-LEB solutions. In the future they aim to use that for LEB solutions as well, which would require an IP change. Hardware nodes have either RAID1 or RAID10, with new nodes getting RAID10 by default. All nodes have Intel Xeon E5-1620v2 CPUs and SATA3 hard drives.
Payment methods accepted are PayPal and Bitcoin. A full refund is available before the 5th business day of you having your server. For all the details on that and more, please read their Terms of Service!

Small update, we now do support IPv6 on the OpenVZ, if you wish to grab a few IPv6 address feel free to open a ticket and we will be more than happy to assign them. Test IPv6: 2607:5300:60:6d05::
Cheers
For the Package 1, is 1GB shared? I once ordered a vps from another UK company but got suspended because bandwidth usage was high (about 50MB/s), and maybe out of their scope.
I mean 1Gbps uplink, sorry.
Hi Doko,
All the VPS machines have 1Gbps/s up-link and are fully able to burst to these speeds. Since each plan has a traffic limit (we dont offer unmetered servers) we dont mind if you decide to have your server burst in bandwidth.
Cheers,
Adam
Cachefly bandwidth shows I’m the lucky guy with an idle network port ;)
Is TUN/TAP supported at Custom panel? Thanks.
Hi
We will happy to enable TUN/TAP for you on request. Simply submit a ticket and we will provision this within a short time.
Regards
Adam
Does the 4TB transfer include inbound traffic?
Hi there,
Yes the traffic is for both inbound and outbond combined.
Thanks for your interest
Adam
is there any test file for download
http://bhs.proof.ovh.net/files/1Gb.dat This is a test file for the OVH network in Canada. Where our servers are located
Cheers,
Adam
do you allow torrent like pirated movies ?
If there are any abuse issues that arise, like, legitimate DMCA or abuse requests, we forward them to the end client to deal with in a timely manner.
In regards to running a torrent client (or any other software), assuming it does not abuse the disk IO and affect other clients (resource abuse) there shouldn’t be an issue running said software on your VPS
Hope this helps
Adam
Hello,
Does it mean you don’t ignore DMCA?
I purchased Package1 plan yesterday and I’m satisfied. Network and I/O seems good. Congratulations.
Thank you for the nice feedback Marcus.
We hope you continue to enjoy our services
Adam
Just got my package today , so far all is perfect , hopefully it will continue this way
Thank you for the feedback, glad you are enjoying the services
Is there some sort of free trial I can use for a day or two so I can make sure my app works right.
Hi John
Sadly we do not offer a free trial. We can assure you however that our OpenVZ templates are just like any other provider giving you the freedom to install what ever software you might need
Regards
Okay, so i’m going to buy the Canada 4GB VPS which is normally $19.00, but now it’s $9.50 with the coupon.
Question: Does this discount stay permanently? For example is it only $9.50 for the FIRST month, then I pay $19.00 a month, or is it $9.50 a month forever?
Hi John
The discount is recurring, means it stays forever. We are doing this promo in order to get our name out there and to show people, even though we are new, we are here to stay :)
Regards,
Adam
Prices are amazingly low, must get a vps as soon as i get :)
Can I buy the VPS Package 1 for now and upgrade later on when I need and still have the discount code forever ? Will I be able to upgrade and downgrade freely while maintaining the discount code ? Any estimates on when package 1 and 2 will be available ?
Can I use windows 7 ? I’ll provide my own key for that matter.
Sadly no, we currently only offer OpenVZ Linux VPS servers.
Cheers,
Adam
We will be happy to upgrade/downgrade the package and maintain the 50% recurring discount so long as the promotion is still running. (till the end of April) After April any change of plans will sadly loose you the promotion deal.
The 2 smaller packages will be restocked Monday next week.
Cheers,
Adam
When you gonna re-stoc the vps?
If nothing unexpected comes up, you should see the packages restocked by Monday next week (27th) giving people a few more days for using the LEB promotion)
Adam
We have restocked the smaller plans :)
“LED” promotion still valid until the end of April :)
Adam
Hello. Is fuse disk support enabled?
Hi Phil
We will be more than happy to enabled FUSE support (and tap/tun/ppp if needed) simple open a support ticket with your VPS IP address and we will do so for you
Regards
That’s VPS or Reseller Hosting cause i can’t found form configure server name etc
Sadly, the coupon code expired..
Hi Adam
Do you have any promotions running at present for Zappiehost VPS? The coupon code seems to have expired.
Appreciated…
I tested Zappie, did a complex setup for a website and when I came two days later it was back to the default Apache screen. I would not recommend them. Very nice pricing but I didn’t like the service.
