I’ve been working on a series called Raindog308’s Journeys in which I try out different providers. Recent entries:

The Review Experience
The ColoCrossing dedi and the Silicom Network reseller hosting are things I plan to use going forward. I have a couple other systems but for reviews going forward, it’s going to be kind of a simulated use case. So this leads to the question of what makes a good review.
Some things that are on my list:
- YABS: because you all love YABS
- The signup experience: how do things go from clicking order to filling out the form, making payment, times, etc.
- TOS/AUP: noting anything that is out of the norm.
- Panels: which are in use, what it’s like to use them.
- Features: custom ISO? reverse DNS? snapshots? Windows server? IPv6? etc.
What else do you think should be included?
