HOLY SH1T DO NOT USE THIS HOST ! I had this host for less than a week and it went down, they blamed the 2 SSD going down at the same time(okay, I can believe that might have been just bad luck). They told me that my account needed to be moved to a new server. Okay, I just spent the last few days configuring it, Stuff happens; I asked them if they could re-provision it with the old IP, they said “DONE”. cool. I tried and waited the old IP, no luck for 3 hours. I asked them to check again. They told me that the server is back up, I tried with new credentials they sent me which were same as the old; NOPE, doesn’t work. I figured out that the IP had changed by the Control panel HTML5 shell access. Okay, they didn’t use the old IP, okay, I guess they were busy with other customers, I can understand. okay lets log into root via PUTTY, NOPE, wrong root password. ok, no problem I can change root password via web config manager, NOPE doesnt take. HEY WAIT A MIN. “512MB of memory”, okay lets double check, Yep, 512mb of memory. YEAH F THIS HOST.
I am very sorry for your experience I would like to look further into it and make it right. Can you please email me your ticket ID so I can investigate further? ernie.quick (at) dedipath.com.
JP149 I concur, I wish I had read your post before I wasted money on a dedicated server. My partition was screwed up and when I realized it and asked for a reload after 12 hours of trying to straighten it out, they wanted $25 1/2 the server cost, I just said no thanks and figured the $60 I spent was my education who not to do business with. Support was zero help.
I am truly sorry for the frustration that has been caused. Can you please email me your ticket ID so I can investigate further? ernie.quick (at) dedipath.com.
