Hosterlabs: Great Offers You Can Feel Good About (4GB of RAM for $7.20/mo in Canada!)

Hosterlabs is back from the Great White North with some new KVM and OpenVZ offers in Quebec.  We last saw them here in July.  This time they’re bringing some pretty deep discounts – 4GB of RAM for only $7.20 a month!  Wowza.

They have a big focus on sustainability and green hosting, using 100% renewable energy sources, reducing carbon footprint with 98% water-cooled rooms, and espousing a very environmentally-conscious ethos.  They also support several charitable groups, all of which is detailed on their site, giving 20% of all profits to the listed charities.

Some people will be more inclined to use Hosterlabs because of these commitments; others might just focus on the offers.  Whichever camp you fall into, take a look below and see if Hosterlabs has something to offer for your needs.

Here’s what they have to say about themselves:

“We are extremely proud to say that we have an excellent support service which is dedicated to our customers. We attempt to have a very good customer satisfaction. Some of our clients are just surprised with our support given our price. We have a lot of experience in technical support and virtualization. We know our stuff in IPv4 and IPv6 as well as anti-ddos protection and optimization. You have system administrators with vast knowledge as your technical support staff. Do not doubt to contact us, as we have your back as your service providers.

We are focused in several aspects; affordability, excellence in customer service and social responsibility.
What do I mean with social responsibility? It means being conscious about our surroundings and understanding that money is not everything in this industry. We care about the environment and our society. We have planned to donate 20% of all our profit at the end of the year to several organizations described in our “about-us” page. At the end of the day, sustainable business models will perdure on the long run.
We offer good hardware, good customer support, and daily supervision of each and all vm’s. We communicate proactively with our customers to check how their service is going. We always try to mediate and know how they are doing. We often perceive issues due to our intensive monitoring before they are reported. So when our customer submits a ticket, we already on it.”

Their WHOIS is not public but they are a registered company in Mexico (Mexico RFC: COPJ010609CVA) and you can find their terms of service on their web site.  You can pay with Paypal, bank transfer, Stripe, and BitCoin.

Remember that the LEB wants to hear about your experiences, so if you try out Hosterlabs, please comment below!

      Hello,

As of now, we do not offer direct admin internal licenses. We are working on solving that in the future.

      Best regards.

  4. Scott Wang:

Purchased a shared hosting account at hosterlabs.net after seeing their Black Friday deals in November. Bought a second account in December. Paid full year in advance. Today I woke up and both were suspended without any notice or explanation. No opened tickets, no emails, nothing. Not happy. Any company that will suspend multiple business websites without any kind of warning or notice is highly suspect.

Just leaving an update – support re-activated my account after a few hours. Said it was a billing system glitch that automatically suspended the services.

Makes me really uneasy that any automatic system is in place that can shut off a website vital to my business, but that’s not uncommon, and I’m glad it was re-activated after just a few hours on a Sunday.
